Anthony Hoffrichter is a self-taught woodworker specialising in boxmaking.
He spent the first 22 years of his working life as a boatbuilder, mainly building large offshore powerboats, until 1993 when the company he worked for ceased trading. He always had a passion for woodworking, so he began making a range of boxes from Australian and exotic timbers. Over the years he has refined his designs and construction techniques, producing up to 120 numbered and signed boxes each year. His unique and impeccably handcrafted jewellery, document and trinket boxes a-re held in public and private collections in most countries throughout the world.
