SWA Symposium – Day Two: Inside the Studios! ✨
Day Two of the SWA Symposium is all about getting up close and personal with the work, the workshops, and the makers themselves!
We kick things off at The Jam Factory, where exhibiting makers in the Collect space will give floor talks about their pieces—their inspirations, techniques, and the stories behind the work. Then, we’ll take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Jam Factory facilities, getting a glimpse into one of Australia’s leading creative hubs.
But we’re not stopping there! Next, we’ll hop on the bus (yes, transport is included!) and head out to visit two incredible workshops:
Mixed Goods – A dynamic, contemporary space where design and craftsmanship collide.
Gray Hawk Design – The home of award-winning furniture designer Gray Hawk, where artistry meets precision.
With plenty of opportunities to chat with makers, see work in progress, and soak up the creative energy, this is a rare chance to step inside the studios where the magic happens.
