Join us in Adelaide for the Symbiosis exhibition and the 2025 Symposium

Studio Woodworkers Australia Symposium November 7th – 8th 2025: Symbiosis
Join us this November in Adelaide for Symbiosis—a two-day deep dive into the world of studio woodworking. Whether you’re a seasoned maker, a curious newcomer, or just love beautifully crafted timber, this symposium is all about exploring the connections between material, craftsmanship, and community.
Day One is packed with insights from some of the best in the business—Peter Walker, Evan Dunstone, Adam Markovitch, Rhys Jones, Paul Haar, and a representative from the Veneer Association of Australia. We’ll round things out with a lively panel discussion, sure to spark plenty of ideas and conversations.
Day Two takes things on the road with floor talks from exhibiting makers at the JamFactory, a behind-the-scenes tour with Stu Colwill, and visits to two of Adelaide’s standout woodworking studios—Gray Hawk Design and Mixed Goods.
Expect plenty of inspiration, thought-provoking discussions, and a chance to connect with fellow woodworkers who share your passion. Symbiosis isn’t just about making things—it’s about the relationships that shape our craft. We’d love to see you there!
Tickets are now available for individual days or both days at a discount. A masterclass with Ross Annells, a dinner and a tour to the Barossa are all in the planning stages and we will reveal all about them when organisation is finalised.
